Many guests return year after year to Bearberry Cottage, a spacious, well furnished and very comfortable Scandinavian-style 3 bedroom holiday home (sleeps 6). Situated in a quiet residential area within the picturesque Victorian village of Ballater, in the heart of majestic Royal Deeside. Just a short stroll from the attractive village centre with its variety of independent shops, supermarket, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Also within walking distance of the renowned River Dee and Ballater’s scenic 18 hole golf course. The surrounding area offers a fantastic range of outdoor activities, for all ages, including hiking, biking, climbing, skiing and fishing.

Bearberry is popular all year round as an ideal base for everything this wonderful area has to offer. It features a secluded enclosed sunny rear garden, backing onto woodland, with garden furniture and barbecue. An ideal peaceful location for watching the red squirrels which visit frequently. The cottage also makes a cosy winter retreat with full oil fired central heating, a wood burner in the sitting room and triple glazing throughout.
